Any one knows probable dates of decision from UVA, UPenn, Michigan, UCLA, and Berkeley?

I was wondering if anyone received probable dates of decision directly from the University contact, and not only from each University website.

This post can be used also to establish decision information from any University in the US.

Also Northwestern, BU, Fordham, and Georgetown, have started to send admissions!

When you get admitted, do you send a reply e-mail ? what do you say? (before deciding and sending letter of intent etc)

What do you mean? Are you talking about the acceptance to admission?

All Universities gives you a deadline for accepting or declining the offer, by sending to them an amount of money for reservation of place purposes.

So you have to manage very well the timing, in order to keep a live all your acceptances, when you are waiting also for other admissions to be made.

Until you give them the final answer (and the money etc) do you send them an email like " thank you , I'll be thinking it over??"

Right, thanking all their attentions and stating that you will think about it, also saying that they will receive the deposit before the deadline passes by.

Has anyone heard yet from UPenn?

I haven't heard from them yet and I applied throw the early circle.

I did apply too through the Early Circle.
According to the info provided on the website answers were due by 8 February, so they have still 2 and 1/2 weeks left ....

Regarding Michigan University and UCLA, anyone have some news?

I suppose that everyone have recieved an email from Berkeley stating that our application is complete and will be transmitted to the committee in February...

Based on what is being said in other threads, I think principessa is the only one, who has up to now received the application complete thing from Berkeley.

I received it yesterday night..
