Congratulations, redstag77! May I ask which country you're from? I am trying to figure out if - in the event that they are working their way through applicants based on geographical pools - they have arrived at Asia yet.

Guys, if you check last year's thread you'll see most decisions were made between 15 Feb and 31 March... I think this next month we'll know our admissions, waitlistings and rejections...

Thank you! Yes, no idea at all how credible that theory is. I was trying to see if I could work out a pattern based on this thread and others like it, but I don't see one. I guess we'll find out soon enough. I'm from South Asia and I applied on December 15 as well, so hopefully I don't have too long to wait, one way or another.

Thank you! Yes, no idea at all how credible that theory is. I was trying to see if I could work out a pattern based on this thread and others like it, but I don't see one. Really ? That's interesting ... would really like to know what the decision to call or not to call depends on - any idea ???
It can not be the country, since i'm from germany too and it can hardly be an 'english-test' considering my toefl of 119 ...

Thanks! I applied regular cycle, December 15 to be precise.

Just to make sure my understanding is correct. When you say you applied on December 15, you mean that you submitted your application on December 15 or that your application was complete according to Columbia's application check website on that date ?

Thanks. Turns out it was a technical glitch that got fixed once I got in touch with them. While a fair number already seem to have received their admission decisions (from the regular cycle), I'm yet to receive any correspondence from them - acceptance or rejection. Since most of those that have heard back from Columbia seem to have received only good news, I wonder whether the they send out the rejection emails only after. Or is Columbia's admission process THAT random - that it is always a mixed bag and unpredictable?

Hello, same situation but here is a theory: Columbia seems to be releasing decisions on Mondays- Feb 13th (based on responses here) then Feb 20th (tracker)

I just got admitted.
The status of my application was showing "application complete" since the 26 January, I never had the status "under review".
