Congratulations to all those who have been accepted!
I requested for an expedited decision on Sunday and unfortunately, received a rejection today. In their email, the Admissions Committee praised my academic credentials but asked that I reapply after having gained more law-related work experience (I have been employed with a law firm for almost two years now). Has anyone else who has been rejected or waitlisted so far received the same explanation? Is this the generic response being doled out by the Admissions Committee? Has anyone else received a different reason/explanation?
I know a few people with the same or lesser duration of work experience who have been accepted, and that makes me question the strength of my credentials. I'm wondering if reapplying in a few months would make a difference or if I should directly apply for the 2019-20 LL.M. Any suggestions/input would be highly appreciated!
Hi! I've been admitted and I have 5 years of experience. Try to reapply when you have at least 3-5 years of work experience. This may help you! Good luck!!!
I've been working for almost 10 years, with 5 in law firms and 4 in JVs, my tofle is good...credentials is aa, but got rejected....so sad.... want to know why...
Hey, when did you receive your decision? Did you apply for expedited review?
