Hello everyone.
I am keen on applying to Columbia as well. I am just not sure whether my work experience will suffice.
My work experience's include: a non-professional experience for over 3 years at Parliament (part-time); 8 months of part-time professional experience at law firm and 1,5 months (current employment) of full-time experience in academia as a legal expert and also a lecturer of 'EU law and Jurisprudence'.
My first two experiences were conducted during LL.B. and LL.M. studies.

They provided in their confirmation email that it is going to be around the end of December. But last year decisions were being released from December 9th until December 17th according to Columbia 2016-2017 LLM guide. But I think it is going to be a little late this year because of the presidential elections that took place. Anyways, hopefully we all get in and be happy lol.

However, LSAC requested additional documents which I circulated to them right after. They hold on the verification of my transcripts and have never sent my LSAC report to Columbia. I have been chasing them but they told me that they have a delay in their process.
Columbia never contacted me.On their application website, it is indicated that my application has been received and that it is an early review application type.
Do you guys have received emails from Columbia confirming the receipt of your LSAC report ? Do you think that my application may not be treated in the early review because LSAC has not circulated my report yet ?

I did receive an email confirming that my application to CLS was complete. I got it just the day after LSAC transmitted my report. I am under the impression that Columbia requires the application to be complete by the 1st of November in order for it to be considered as part of the Early Review cycle. Perhaps you should contact them? Hopefully your application won't be deferred to the regular cycle.

The LSAC sent my report around 10 days after the application deadline and I received an email from Columbia the day after, confirming that my application was complete.
Actually when I called Columbia before they received my report they explained that they accept a few days delay to receive the report from LSAC after the application deadline. After that they defer the application to the regular admission cycle.

Not yet, at least as far as I am concerned. And according to the past few years application trackers, I think that Columbia may only start issuing decisions next week, but most likely the week after and the one just before Christmas.

Do you know if the Application Status available through "My Columbia LLM" changes to "under review" or something similar when this is actually the case or do you think that the status stays at "Application Complete" without any further update until the decision is made ? I keep checking anyway !!
