Anyone still not having an application completion notification? Mine status still shows "your application has been received" and has not been updated for nearly one month.


Hi. Columbia is pretty prompt, I'd think- I got application receipt email and completion email in the same week, mid December. Send them an email?

Hi everyone. I applied in early review and was offered admission via email on December 20th. However, Columbia's email stated that they will start reviewing financial aid applications soon and will notify me as soon as they have made a decision.

Does anyone has already received any financial aid decisions or received a different response regarding financial aid?

I have the same problem. But I've convinced myself not to worry just yet :)

Same here :( And I assume the later the application is "complete", the later comes the admissions decision.

Did your status change? If so, did you receive a decision? My status changed today, and I'm trying to determine if there is a relation between the day of completion and the decision.

Which is probably a useless and stupid task, but you never know.

I applied on December 14. My status changed from 'application received' to 'application complete' only a few weeks ago - i did not receive any email to confirm this. I was pleasantly surprised to receive the admission email today. After receiving the email, my status changed to 'Decision has been emailed'.

Hammurabi - congrats!! Do you remember when your application status was changed to complete?


I received an email on 21 Jan that my application was received and was complete. I haven't checked the online status of my application since then because I didn't expect to receive the decision so soon.

Not necessarily. Mine became complete on Dec. 18 and nothing so far...

Mine has been complete since October (!) and I still haven't received any news... I think the process is random and not based on who applied the earliest.
