what will be the effect of participation to CLS summer school in amsterdam over llm admissions? any idea?

Oh...I didn't see that coming...
no deadline to enroll yet? how come?

I had some problem with my online application but the people at CLS office of admission were very nice and i finally sent my applications and they recieved it on 4th February and I was assured that this delay wont affect my chances adversely , I am yet to hear from CLS , I am a bit worried. It would be nice if someone can help me out here.

Actually I think they, to some extent, still judge applications on country basis, because as far as I know, the other one and me from the same country both got the rejection today.

I am also from Taiwan, but haven't got any notice from CLS yet...

about the Appel or Human Rights scholarships, i read in the CLS that they have not awarded it. You may check it out by going to the admitted page (yup, you can click it even if you have not been admitted) and it will contain information regarding the financial aid application. it was last updated on 22 february, i think. :-)

Marietta LaFargue from Admissions´ Office told me that Appel Schollarship will be awarded one month from now approx.

I am also from Taiwan, but haven't got any notice from CLS yet...

I just called Columbia. The lady I spoke to was pretty nice and provided useful information (I didn't get her name though). Apparently, they will continue to send out admission letters until around April 15. However, she said that if an urgent response was needed because of a pending deadline with some other university, we could fax them the admission letter form the other school and request an expedited review of our application in order to make a timely decision. Good luck to you all. Please keep us posted with further news.

I haven't. I'm still waiting for other responses which are due sometime between tomorrow and the 24th. I guess I'll probably fax them early Arpil, if there's still no response and in case there's a chance that I may struggle to meet some of the other deadlines. I already have a deadline for April 15th, although I'm still waiting for a decision regarding scholarship.
