Hey all,
I would appreciate advice about which school I should get my LLB at. My two choices at the moment are University of London External and BPP. My goal is to ideally, eventually get a BCL from Oxford. Can anyone tell me if one or the other would be more favorably viewed by Oxford (or other prestigious LLM programs in Britain)?
Some context:
I graduated from an American University (majored in philosophy) around 12 years ago and have decided in the past year to pursue law. Due to personal circumstances, I would have to do an online program. The criterion I am primarily interested in is that the program will be looked upon more favorably by Oxford. Likelihood of getting a training contract, or appeal to potential employers is not a factor.
At the moment I am leaning towards UoL because of price and because the research that I've done so far has indicated that it's more comprehensive and also more prestigious. I'm also not put off by the fact that there's less support.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

There's been some discussion here about the LLB from UoL:
https://llm-guide.com/board/distance-learning/the-external-llb-in-canada-47516
... that's an old thread but it seems like it's a decent program, but the jury is still out on whether it's a good way to prep for further in-class law studies.
As far as I know, there's less discussion here generally about BPP.
You might want to email the Oxford admissions people to see if they can give you a better idea about how they look at these degrees - and how they look at online LLBs in general.
