Hi all,
I was the poster who was wondering what to do with an impending Oxford deadline (my letter said April 29th) and no answer from Cambridge concerning colleges.
Well, I did as a commenter said and wrote to Ms. Biese of the Law Faculty. She sent back a very prompt and sympathetic answer telling me to simply notify them as soon as possible of my answer. So there's that.
I did the same with my college offer from St-Hilda's and was given a few extra weeks to make my decision. By the way, I'm not very familiar with St-Hilda's, so can anyone tell me what they know or have heard about it? Thanks.

Hi guys!
Have anybody heard about the Law Faculty awards?
I haven't heard anything, I'm dying to know!
I was thinking about emailing Ms Biese to ask her if decisions had been made, but I haven't heard back from colleges yet so it's not like anything's going to change for me once I know ;)

Hi guys,
does anoyone know whether the TOEFL (at least 109 of course) instead of the IELTS would be acceptable? I think so since it was an option of the application form and it is also provided under the brochure of the programme, but the offer letter mentions only the IELTS conditions.......
Many thanks for any info!

NO!!! I didn't and I am dying to know if I am in!
Are you sure that there are no chances that I don't get into one college?

I understand that all of us have right to one place at one college, even if it might not be our preferred choise.
But I was wondering whether the fact that we didn't still have any information on this has to be considered a bad sign (i.e. we will be accepted only by those not-old-fashioned colleges less popular...!!)

I haven't received any college letters so far, but today I received my scholarship offer letter! I suppose the college letter should be coming soon? No sense in offering the scholarship if I wasn't accepted to any college?

Awesome! Congratulate you with the scholarship!!! Was it the one from the Faculty of Law?
Btw, just today a received from a regular mail an acceptance letter from The Queen's College (which was not my first choice and I don't know anything about it). It is just a hardcover, they didn't notify me by e-mail...

It's the Open Society/University of Oxford Scholarship.
What is interesting is that one of the persons in the cc is from New College, maybe they accepted me there but my letter is still on the way?
New College was not my first choice, but it seems great!
I hope I'm not exploring for nothing :))

Hey guys,
I have just been admitted to St. Hilda's College, not my first choice though. The letter was issued at May 13th, guess many people will hear soon.
Anyone also in St. Hilda's?

I just got information about the Law Faculty Awards. Ms Geraldine Malloy wrote me: "I have been informed that we should know the outcome within the new 5 days. Successful applicants will be notified by email". So, there is still a chance...
