Hello,
Did anyone receive an offer from LSE or King's yet? I got one from King's this morning but i have a feeling that LSE might take way more time ...

I agree, I think that a letter from a judge will be impressive but as a third extra reference. most of them are clear on requiring the references to be academic. i am sending a third extra as well, a professional recommendation. hope it helps!
Hi! Im a lawyer with a 5 years professional experience in multinational big law firms. i have two recommendations from my 2 last jobs, taken from the partners of the firms, one in French and the other in English. Asking for reference letters from my professors in university might be a little harder to do as they might not even remember me and my time is very limited. Any idea if they would even take into consideration my application if a submit these letters alone with no other academic ones? thanks!

Hi Mirela6 - when did you graduate from uni? I believe that some of the UK universities have exceptions on reference for students who have graduated around 2005.

I graduated in 2005. I was thinking to apply at QM for start and than try for some other uni-s outside London like Bristol or Nottingham. Im not sure yet which is the best for a Commercial/Business Law LLM.
Life in London might be too expensive if i will stop working and only concentrate on the master, Anyways for me gathering the documents will be a real challenge due to lack of time and i want to apply for QM in December even if i dont have all the papers like the English test and reccomendations from professors.

hello everyone,
I will apply for those 4 law schools.
i would like to as you one question: i want ask for two LLm at king's. I have specific reference letters for each of the programme and i saw that online you can dowload only two reference letters.
Do you think i can dowload one reference letter for the IP LLM and one reference letter for the regulation and technology programme ?
do i need two references letters for each specialism LLM or two letters for the application to King's in general ?
thanks for your help

When you apply for the LLM at King's, you make only a general application for the LLM. What specific programme you'll do once you've gained admission is not to be decided on until you enrol in the programme and make a final decision upon the modules you want to do... In other words, I don't think you can make two different applications for the LLM at KCL.
