Delane: congratulations! That's great news right before the holidays. What specialism at LSE are you interested in?
Legalartist: Delane mentioned earlier in this thread that he applied near the beginning of November.

I have been working for some years but without any experience in the legal field. I am now studying full-time PCLL in HONG KONG (equivalent to LPC in UK) at the University of Hong Kong. I only have an average of 62 in my CPE/GDL course (i ranked the 21st out of 161 students), do you think I stand a chance or will get rejected right immediately?

Hello everyone,
Do you think that an application for scholarship delays the LSE's response.
Thanks

I don't know about the others, but King is super efficient once you have sent them all the relevant documents.

I also have already received an offer from KING'S and from QM. Which is better?? I know that QM is a littler bit expensive than QM. But do you know how both of them are in the ranking?? In QM, I applied for Public Law LLM. I am from Peru, so I will appreciate a lot your help!!!!!
thanks and good luck for everyone!

If it is of any help, UCL acknowledged the arrival of my application (I've sent by post) in the Nov. 2nd, and I have received an offer Nov. 25th.
Posted Dec 21, 2010 13:59
I just got an e-mail saying that I am recommended to the Admissions Office of UCL to offer me a place, but that's not an offer itself. I applied in the begining of the month and got a response today.
Hopefuly I will be receive and offer. Still no response from Kings and QMUL...

Great news! Did you apply online or by post??
I have received offers from Kcl, Qmul and LSE, nonetheless, not a word from UCL.

Thanks Antigone!
Not really selected a specialism yet. More like a "topic"; regulation..
Qmul would most probably be economic regulation, Kcl regulation and media, lse, general llm.

How do you compare the finance LLM of KCL with that of UCL?

ihb85 - I think the e-mail we've received is an informal admission.... I've applied in Nov 23 and received the "recommendation" e-mail today.

I hope so, I got the same from Durham and after a few days I got an offer, but on the other hand it clearly says that it does not constitute an offer of admission. I guess we have to wait and we'll see...
