If the decisions are already made, I don't get why don't just send e-mails with the outcome.
Also, I don't get why Ms. Wade replied to some e-mails, but didn't reply to others.
I was really optimistic this morning, but now I'm not anymore.. I just wish I knew how they manage this application process.
Edit: thanks everyone that called/emailed cam and shared infos.

Dear all, I have been following this post for a while and I have been ucdc for so long and I still am.
However, Ms Wade finally replied to my email confirming that I have been recommended for a conditional offer.
As other people have already said, I think that they are still making decisions and who is ucdc, there is a good chance that they will get an offer.
I hope that more offer follows mine for all of you.
I also got an email from Ms Wade today saying the same. I had to email her twice before I got a reply.

I wonder if anybody (closer to home in particular) could tell me what the convention is for conditions for British-style grades? I'm assuming that they usually make it conditional on a first, but has anybody heard of them making it conditional on a 2:1, or on a very high 2:1?

For anyone worried about conditions - if you have already finished your undergraduate law degree, then most of the conditions will be administrative in nature only. Mine include things like providing original transcripts, financial undertakings, getting a visa, uploading a copy of passport etc.
