I sent a follow-up email to my earlier email to Ms. Wade (of six days ago), marking GAO. Only received an automatic response to it. Nothing else so far.

Well, the number of people in dc seems to have decreased (finally!). Maybe I'm being too optimistic, but i believe this will be our last week of endless wait.

Following Miss Wade's e-mail that confirmed my offer I sent her another e-mail to know what conditions will be attatched to the offer.

She responded to me today saying that she does not have that information since that is dealt by the GAO. Since its very busy, she said, they might take up to two more weeks to upload such information. So, sorry guys, but maybe some of you will still have to bear that time in UCDC.

I emailed Ms. Wade cc'ing all the dignitaries above to provide a general feedback (based on LegalLife's advice) on the overall LLM application processing process to which Miss Wade replied as follows:
"As you might be aware, formal offer notifications are sent to successful applicants by the Graduate Admissions Office, rather than by the Faculty of Law, because it is the GAO who sets offers for the LLM, following recommendation by the Faculty. The Faculty and the GAO are working to process all decisions as quickly as possible, following our consideration of all LLM applications by 15 March. However, we appreciate that this can take time given the two stage process, and that applicants are understandably keen to know the outcome of their applications as soon as possible. We will therefore consult the Graduate Admissions Office to see whether it would be possible for the Faculty to send informal offer notifications to successful applicants prior to the formal offer from the GAO."
I hope we will hear from them soon.

Hi guys, been a silent follower of this thread for the past 3 weeks and I share everyone's frustration with the process. I just received Ms. Wade's reply (around 0930 UK time) to the e-mail I sent last Friday. She informed me that I have a conditional offer and that "the GAO will update your self-service account once they have processed your file." As of now, my CAMSIS is still UCDC.

In any case, I quoted Ms. Wade's reply to Callbhockq from a while back because it is really telling. I remember someone commented that this could mean that all those in UCDC will receive conditional offers. I also shared the same conclusion, though obviously, it's easier for me to say this now. Ms. Wade explicitly stated that the Faculty has considered all applications by March 15. Moreover, she emphasized the 2-stage process, which suggests that the delay might be more administrative. Her response squares with the info on the GAO website (http://www.graduate.study.cam.ac.uk/after-applying/timescales) that: "If your application is unsuccessful, you may receive notification of the outcome earlier. This is not because your application was not fully considered; this is because the process for establishing all the components of an offer is time consuming."

Given the lack of reported rejections for a while now, I think those still in DC land will eventually receive a conditional offer. Still doesn't fully make up for the lousy process, though.

From this thread it seems that Miss Wade only replies to successful applicants' emails. Hopefully we might get some news soon.

I emailed her a week ago when I was on UCDC but she never got back to me but my status updated yesterday. So, dont know what to really deduce from that.

Any one had a status update today? According to the GAO on Friday I was to move conditional offer yesterday but I'm still at awaiting approval by BGS.

Dear all, I have been following this post for a while and I have been ucdc for so long and I still am.
However, Ms Wade finally replied to my email confirming that I have been recommended for a conditional offer.
As other people have already said, I think that they are still making decisions and who is ucdc, there is a good chance that they will get an offer.
I hope that more offer follows mine for all of you.

Just called the GAO again and they confirmed that they are working their way through the list of people who have been BoGSd and making offers. I was BoGSd on March 16th and they said that I should receive an offer later today or tomorrow. It sounds as if they are working through chronologically based on when you moved to the BoGS stage. Not of use to those of you at UCDC but hopefully helpful to people still at the BoGS stage.

Just spoke to GAO. Gave them my application number and asked for an update. They said that the system only reflects that I'm at the UCDC stage and there's nothing further. However, the law school has made the decisions and is slowly updating statuses. She said to expect to hear very soon. So not much more info I got there after making that overseas call.

Just wondering, did most of you guys also apply to Oxford's BCL?

'Slowly' being the operative word here.

But thanks for letting us know :)

Thanks. Good to know that it is now "just" a matter of updates. Did not apply to Oxford.

If the decisions are already made, I don't get why don't just send e-mails with the outcome.
Also, I don't get why Ms. Wade replied to some e-mails, but didn't reply to others.
I was really optimistic this morning, but now I'm not anymore.. I just wish I knew how they manage this application process.

Edit: thanks everyone that called/emailed cam and shared infos.
