The Academic conditions should be a first or its equivalent.

Have any of you received your offer by letter yet? And, if so, how long after being notified by email did you receive it? Also, when was your Self Service account updated to show your offer?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Just following on from my last note, I received an offer on 6 January, but have heard nothing since (i.e. no letter or self service account change).

Hi trout_face,
Its unlikely anyone would have recieved the offer letter yet, or had their service account changed, as the the Board of Graduate Studies have not been notified yet of whose been made offers, and neither have the successful applications been circulated at the chosen colleges.
Should happen in the next couple of weeks or so, and then the offer letters will be sent out and account updated.
Also, if you want to know what your individual academic offer conditions are, and cant wait for the offer letters, i suggest giving Suzanne Wade a call and she'l just tell you.

Thanks London_student. Very helpful. I just called Suzanne Wade and she told me what my academic condition is, so you were right.

I think the suspense is slowly killing me...

does anybody have a clue when the rejections come out? do they send the offers first and rejections afterwards, or do they simply decide whether they reject or accept the candidate ad hoc?

@ xelwnak: I don't know anybody from 2010/11 applicants who Cambridge has already rejected (not that I know that many applicants:)). You might be right and they first send out email notifications of coming offers and than start posting rejections on camsis. The Law Faculty does not send emails to unsuccessful applicants:
"If your application is unsuccessful, you can find out about this decision first on your online self-service page. You will also receive e-mail confirmation from the Board of Graduate Studies. The Law Faculty does not e-mail unsuccessful applicants." http://www.law.cam.ac.uk/courses/llm-applications-decisions-process.php
Anyway, I hope you will soon receive an offer email from them. Good luck:)!

Camsis down due to essential maintenance :( I guess the wait keeps on.

With regard to the rejections:
The offers that have been made so far were made via email. As I see it, nobody has received the formal offer letter yet and nobody's CAMSIS has been updated. Then why did they notify us immediately? Well, most likely because they didn't want us to accept other offers in the meantime just because we are unsure about the Cambridge decisions.
The rejections are formal decisions as well. Thus, they will most likely be sent at the same time as the formal offer letters. There is no particular reason why anyone should be informed earlier, e.g. via email. So I guess everyone will just have to wait until all formal letters are out, which will most likely not be any earlier than one or two weeks after the last meeting of the degree committee.

Does anyone know when the Committee meets and whether any more offers are going to be made?

Just a little reminder:
Anybody planning to start their LLM at Cambridge in October 2010 should join this group!
http://www.lawyrs.net/groups/234/cambridge-class-of-2011
I think you have to be logged into lawyrs.net for that link to work. If it doesn't for some reason just search lawyrs.net for a group called "Cambridge Class of 2011".
