Hey CanuckLLM/Thinking:
I'm also Canadian, haven't received anything yet. Were you applying right out of your law degree in Canada, or did you also have work experience?
Thanks -

Hi transplant,
I applied out of my last year of my law degree, though I had limited experience in a legal environment before entering law school (I doubt that was a factor anyway).
Hope you get some good news soon!

I have some work experience -- I'm currently articling and worked for 2 summers at a law firm.

Thanks guys. Was just torturing myself trying to figure out whether there was some kind of pattern (usually a futile exercise). I finished articling last year, working now.

Hi All
Congratulations to all those who have already received offers.
I've not had a yay or nay yet, but I did overhear a guy on the train yesterday saying a friend of his didn't get in and was notified "online."
I was wondering if anyone else (in Australia or elsewhere) has heard of a recent round of rejections?
Cheers

Are you sure that the guy on the train was referring to the LLM?
I haven't heard of any rejections yet. I received an offer on January 6th but my friend is still waiting.
Don't lose hope melbsolicitor! :)

Congratulations to all who have been admitted and best wishes to all eagerly awaiting for the result..
I wanted to ask you all about the functioning of camsis...
I sent the online application somewhere in second week of November and also sent the relevant documents through courier...
However, my camsis page still indicates that I need to send personal reference letter and coversheet..
I am not sure about the coversheet but I have surely sent the personal reference letter and all the other documents...
I inquired about this with the board of graduate studies and also with llm department, but they keep redirecting to each other.
Could anyone tell me about the implications n about the effect of forgetting to send the coversheet and reference instruction form, as I am not sure about my having sent them.
Could anyone also let me know as to whether camsis shows such info, even after sending the the documents, as in my page it says that some documents, which have already been sent are awaited.

Hi guys,
I was offered a conditional place on the LLM in January! My CAMSIS hasn't been updated yet so I'm just crossing my fingers until I find out which college I've been allocated to :)
Congratulations to all those with offers and good luck to those waiting!

Finally. I received the offer e-mail a couple of hours ago. Conditional as well.
Now, I will have to decide whether to choose Cambridge or LSE...although it's not the hardest decision in my life, I suppose.

Hey, I'm in the same position (fortunately) with regards to choosing between the two. Once I fulfill the academic conditions of either of them I will be happy out!

I think it should say "Papers with Degree Committee" on Camstis. I would strongly suggest calling Admissions and getting it sorted out definitively.
Good luck.

I do love London but I very much think so. I just don't feel like I can turn down an offer of Cambridge although I've never been there and can't really imagine what life will be like in this small student city...

I don't think you can, either :)
And Cambridge isn't that far from London, I know someone who commutes daily!
