Hey littledoll,
did you hear about the condition because you received the formal offer letter or did you ask Mrs Wade about it?
And have you finished your studies or does the condition relate to your future exam results?
Thanks in advance,
Dutchman

Hi everyone,
I received my offer on Jan 6th. Has anyone's CAMSIS been updated recently?

I called Suzanne Wade because my final exams will be soon, So I kinda wanted to prepare.... Actually, it would be possible for me to reach the average under normal circumstances but unfortunately normal circumstances do not apply to me at the moment...

Hi all,
I applied in October, and all this talk of offers has made me less optimistic about my chances. I did, however, get an e-mail from Mrs Wade on the 12th asking for my official transcript, which I somehow forgot to include with my application. Does anyone know if this is a good sign, or do they just need the official transcript before they can officially say 'no thanks'?

For those of you who are interested... I received my academic condition today... It's nearly impossible to reach it! Guess I was too positive about it all....
Again, I am a graduate of the 2008 LLM class. When I first got my academic condition I was headed into my final law school exams. The condition placed on my offer was unatainable. Literally, even if I got a perfect score on all of my exams I would not meet the requirement. I was obviously worried by all of this. As it turned out, the professor who designated my condition had done it incorrectly. My condition ended up being changed, I achieved it and I spent a fantastic year at Cambs.

explain them at camb your situation, I am sure they will take it into account and judge favourably, especially since you are camb material given your number one ranking in your class..

Has anyone who submitted a paper application heard anything?
I've graduated with a first from a top UK University, have good recommendations, and lots of extra ciriculars and I would have considered my application as being very strong but now I'm worrying...

I'm worried too. I have a first, teach law at a local university and have 9 publications plus 4 years work experience as a solicitor. I was reasonably confident but I suppose the field must be super-super-strong this year. Anyway, no point in wasting energy, what will be, will be.

Hi everyone, I received a conditional offer on the 6th of Jan. I was wondering if anyone knows what the academic conditions are usually like? LittleDoll's comment on her conditions have me worried as I won't be sitting my final exams until June...

I am among the ones who got a conditional offer on the 6th of January and I am getting more and more worried about the academic condition and the grades I will have to achieve. I check Camsis regularly but it remains the same. According to posts of previous years, though, the update of camsis takes place a little later. So we have just to wait for the formal letter and stay optimistic!!! :-)
@ Maria, if I am allowed to ask, where are you from?

Hi Butterfly, I'm starting to get really worried too as all the previous posts seem to indicate that the conditions were very difficult to achieve. I'm from New Zealand :) Where are you from?
Posted Jan 20, 2010 20:06
I am from Greece :) I know "Maria" is a "worldwide" name, but it is really common here, so I've just wondered whether you were from Greece as well! That was why I asked! ;)
As far as the conditions are concerned, I must confess I am also getting worried. I am currently taking my final exams in order to graduate and it's quite stressful not to know exactly what conditions you will be asked to fulfill. However, I don't want to exaggerate, so patience and crossed fingers are absolutely recommended! :)))

Thanks Morticia! I am from Slovakia but I study in Czech Republic - I'm in my final year now. Makes me wonder about the academic condition - I hope it won't be too strict. But anyway, I'd rather not think about it today and just celebrate! Good luck to you!

Congratulations! I'm very envious as I'm still waiting.
