2013-2014 Cambridge applicants?

sav_kls

I've now just applied for the LL.M (general) at Cambridge 2013/14.
I wish it wasn't going to be such a long wait to hear back though :/

Can you help me out with the "line limit" of the three questions ? Even if i exceed the line limit it still accepts and there is no automatic line counter also.

Before submitting the application you have to review it and the system will tell you whether you exceeded the max. number of lines ;)

Hey,

So I just started uploading the documents. According to the system the items are supposed to disappear from the list of documents we have to send in as soon as they are successfully uploaded. However, the documents I uploaded are still on the list....
Does anyone know if it just takes some time until they disappear or did something go wrong?

edit: I just found out that it takes about an hour ;)

So did anyone else click on the help links on the form? I'm just slightly worried there may be important information there because it says somewhere on the site that we should use those links when applying.

Hello everyone,

I am also planning to apply for master studies at the University of Cambridge.

I took TOEFL and my results are following:
R - 29
L - 30
S - 24
W - 30

Since the result of speaking is below the limit for one point, does this mean that I will have to take the test again or my whole application could be rejected on the basis of this one stupid point?

Best from Serbia,
Dragana

Camsis isn't updated during the weekend, isn't it? My referee uploaded his reference yesterday but it still hasn't disappeared from the list of documents I need to send in :/ (I'm getting paranoid...)

I am not sure if its updated or not. But when I submitted my application last night, by morning I received an email providing me with details of my self service account.

Well anyway not to worry. I did upload my documents just now so let me get back to in an hour or so if Camsis is updated during the weekend. It should ideally take an hour right, for the links to disappear?

Hi,

Could you please tell me if your recommendation has been taken on record? My document status shows no change since yesterday and now I am getting paranoid.

Thank you

Hi guys,

I am wondering if anyone can help me.

I wanted to know whether you must answer A(12) if you are applying for the Cambridge LLM? It may seem a blindingly obvious question, but although it states 'Applicants for PhD, MSc or MLitt only', I am unsure as to whether it is relating to the requested supervisor section.

Any answers would be greatly appreciated!

Thank youu

Yes you have to answer A12. Applicants for PhD, MSc or MLitt are required to name a supervisor additionally. As a Master's applicant you are required to provide a reason for undertaking the course.

Thank you very much for your response!

Oh gosh, looks like I have today to come up with an answer.

I still have not submitted my application; do you think that it is going to be too late to upload the supporting documents by 15th? As I am mindful that the qualifications directory suggests applying two weeks before the deadline

Thanks again

You are welcome but yes you need to hurry up...its a two stage application process...after you submit your application, within an hour you would receive an email giving you access to your self service account. Though you can upload your supporting documents immediately, what can consume time is the emails that the referees receive and their replies to the same. Your deadline will inevitably be 15th November.

Oh and in my experience the Camsis website does not function during weekends (you can see the previous posts).

That should not have any bearing on your process as long as you are given access to your account.

Hopes this helps.

All the best.
