So, I know we won't find out what college(s) accept us for a bit (according to the email). But what is everyone's thoughts on the colleges? I'm from the U.S., so the entire college part is totally new to me... I figured it was like Griyffindor and Slytherin haha... I don't know about everyone else, I just want to be in a classical building with a private bedroom, areas for sports, and internet, of course, is a MUST!
I am hoping I am allocated a 100% graduate college, I do not like the idea of living with first year undergrads, haha! An ensuite or private bathroom would be nice too.
For sure, I totally agree!
Well upon applying I was very uncertain I would get in, and I found the whole picking a college thing to be rather confusing and time consuming. I was also worried that I would not get into the ones I picked, and that my application would have a better chance if I left it open. That probably was not the best course of action, but there we are! I think as long as I'm in at all that's good enough for me :).
Does anyone know if postgraduates are actually required to live in the colleges? While I would like to live on campus, if for some reason the accommodation available isn't amazing it might be nice to just rent an apartment in the city. I do have a feeling it's a requirement to live in a college though.
I will make a Facebook group for those of us who have been admitted, so we can be neurotic together waiting for all the formal offers to come through :) and perhaps make some friends before we actually arrive! I will post the link here in awhile for anyone who is interested.
