I heard this was the main round of offers. There should be additional round as well, due to rejections by many selected candidates. Good luck to all who are still waiting. :)
I am already admitted and I cannot login into CamSis. Guess someone is working there right now. :)

Am still waiting for the promised next email on the MCL offer!
Posted Feb 13, 2013 17:39
Hi all! This thread is so comforting and super helpful. I got my email from Suzanne Wade last Friday with the conditional offer but my status remained 'awaiting consideration by department' for all of this week. However, I checked my self-service account just now and it's been updated to say 'conditional offer made'. Perhaps they are in the process of updating all our accounts now! My conditions are also listed out in the link below the status- the link is titled 'view offer conditions/comments'. However, if your self-service account hasn't been updated yet, no worries! It's natural to get a bit antsy but the intended wait is until 15 March so there's a ways to go yet. Hope this helps :)
PS: I joined facebook grp as well!
Hey if you don't mind me asking, could you elaborate on the conditions attached? If academic, are they achievable? I received my for the MCL but still haven't heard regarding conditions!

Could you please tell me where you heard that from?
So the rest of the applicants will only receive an email in case current offer holders reject their offers???

I was told by previous applicants in last few years. But I used the term "heard", nothing official and it might very well be different from their experience, so do not panic. Nothing is set in stone. I was told this first round was like that because of some scholarship and college deadlines.
But I am truly sorry If I misguided you, guys.

Hey- my conditions for LL.M are a lot easier than I anticipated. Currently I am studying for a PCLL in Hong Kong (it is a post-graduate certificate of laws that every law student must complete before being able to practice- sort of like a bar exam), but my only academic requirement there is that I provide evidence that I will complete the PCLL. Nothing is said about achieving a certain grade. So my conditions are:
1. Evidence of completion of 'current course of study' (PCLL)
2. Official Bachelor's degree transcript
3. Financial Undertaking
4. Scanned copy of passport
5. Acceptance of the offer
6. Entry into a college at Cambridge
And that's it! Hope this helps :)

Even if there is a first round, I don't think they have got to all the countries yet. A few countries are conspicuously missing from the people who have received an offer on this website, and also from the people I know...

I have applied to LLM program and the status of my application is still awaiting consideration by department...has anyone recieved an offer for LLM? Are they sending out offers country wise or facultywise?? Im kind of freaking out now!

Didn't get that detailed a mail from Suzanne Wade (I'm an MCL applicant), but did get a short note from her stating that we ought to receive a more detailed letter in the course of the week, being last week.
Anyways, my CAMSIS status has now changed to "Awaiting decision by the Board of Graduate Studies"
??
hey, my status did that, too, and it has just updated to "conditional offer made" so I reckon it's a good sign :)

Hi Azuz,
Just accept your KCL offer. You can opt to back out without incurring any penalties later on. This was what KCL suggested I do when I emailed them to ask for an extension of time to accept the offer.
Good luck to those of us still waiting for an offer from Cambridge! :)

Accept the offer from KCL and feel free to decline later on. I spoke with an admission officer from King's who told me it was perfectly fine to do so. You know, as long as they are not asking you for a deposit...

Ok then, I'll probably accept it. Thank you for the advice and good luck for everyone still waiting! :)

Today I was informed by Ms Wade that getting no email from that Faculty doesn't mean you are rejected or wait-listed at all.
It simply mean that they are considering your application.
Keep waiting and refreshing inbox.
