LLM in European Law, but which one and where?

Hi Brainy Smurf, thank you for your reply, I have applied to Leiden, Edingburgh, Vienna, Catholica Global School of Law and got an offer from all of them (I rejected Vienna so far because I got an unconditional offer and if I did not reject it in time I would have had to pay 10% of the tutition fee. What is your opinion about the universities you recommended, which one do think is the most prestigious one (except for CoE).

I am afraid that European Law at Leiden is mainly focused on human rights and structure of the Union. (source: curriculum)

I think the programme lacks courses like competition and company law...

Hi lllaw, yes I've seen that, and competition and company law is the ones I would most like to be taught in. But I thought that if it is a very good university for European law I could do my master thesis on competition law to even it out and still go there. Because right now it seems that leiden is the best university for European law outside the UK and except for college of Europe, but I could be wrong, it's just my idea.

The universities I selected are all within proximity of CJEU and EU, if you plan to do an internship. Honestly, you cannot go wrong with Leuven. Information here: http://www.law.kuleuven.be/cals/llm/.

What do you guys think about the European Law LLM at King's College London? How does it fare when compared to the EU Law LLMs in the UK and in Europe in general? Thank you.
