Hey, even I received the offer today, and are elated! :-)

Equally excited I am, for receiving the book along with the Hard Copy of the offer letter by surface mail, and are wondering which one will it (the book) be. :-P

A humble message to whom it MIGHT concern: The offer letter mentions that we will be hearing on the scholarships prior to 15th March 2020.

Another humble message, this time, to the friends on the wait-list: This is a bitter-sweet situation, but congratulations are still in order. I can feel you right now, because I myself might very well be receiving a rejection, if not just a wait-listing, from a university in a matter of a couple of weeks (god forbid, though). And I believe you stand real good chances for admission, as several admitted folks WILL deny the offer, and I myself MIGHT choose another American law school over this, even if I will get the rejection from the one I talked about above. Others WILL reject due to scholarship issues. So, so. Don't lose hopes, please, and congratulations on getting offers from other places that you have applied, if and as that's the case. :-) Good luck on your IHEID application's remaining bits. :-)

Finally,
I'm excited about accepting the offer, although this will be a tough choice for me to choose between this and other(s). Graduate Institute is luring, as there are job prospects, and a this is a LL.M. program in itself. I wait for scholarships eagerly, and if I do accept the offer, I will be more than happy (I already are excited) to meet you all in Geneva this fall! :-)

Does someone know whether in the past they notified people about the scholarships BEFORE the 15th or is it exactly on the 15th?

Hi. Does anyone's online status from the application form has changed from "submitted" to "admitted" but has yet to receive the official admission letter?
I'm worried that if they have mistakenly done that...

I applied for the early bird deadline (November 15th). Received admission letter in mid-January, looks like a great program tbh.

Thanks for letting us know. I applied in the regular deadline (January 15). Did you also receive the financial aid decision along with your application?

I did not ask for consideration for scholarships, so I cannot provide any guidance on this. I did however apply for scholarship funding at Leiden and MIDS, and have received offers but no word on scholarships. I know that these announcements are expected mid to late march in those two programs, if thats helpful!

No not yet. Also wondering whether factors like academic merit or country of origin play a role. Can’t find much info on that.

I see. Where are you from? I also wonder, don't know much either.
I've heard that last year no one got a Scholarship for this LL.M, though

I'm in the same situation as you. I'm from Brazil and as for today the Swiss franc is worth nearly 5 Brazilian reais (laughing while crying hahaha). Only the deposit they want us to do to secure our offer is worth almost 3 months of my whole family revenue, so it's pretty much impossible for me without the scholarship too ):

It's devastating to me hearing that no one got a scholarship last year though! But maybe it means this year they might have enough funds for at least a couple of scholarships? Let's hope for the best, I'm rooting for everyone else depending on this decision and hoping I'll get to meet you guys in September ????

I can totally relate. And that's very frustrating indeed. I'm ready to work and strictly save all the money for that, but it will still take me at least 15 years until I gather enough... So yeah, I understand, impossible for me too :(

I really was surprised to hear that as well! Hopefully this year it will be different. Can't wait to know the decision, although even afraid to hope for anything. Every email notification drives me crazy, haha..
Really want to meet you all in September too :)

Guys, I've received acceptances from the Geneva Academy (LLM programme on IHL) and the Graduate Institute, Geneva (LLM in International Law, specialising on Protection of the Individual).

I don't know which to choose. What would you suggest and why?
