Got ILF - no scholarship - and trying to make some sense of things.
A. from what i seem to gather from the 8 who got the scholarship - 4 in one way or another voiced out Samsa, Kao, julie, Unnamed (know from other source), out of those 3 for certain have informed Deusto that they are going. From what i gather Kant is going without a scholarship - unless you got bumped from waiting list which would be something i would much like to know.
B. what i am trying to understand i guess is 1- how many people might be in a position to say no (good news are that some of the stronger waitlisted candidates have already decided on something else).
C. Concerning waitling lists - i have a possitive experince from last year so have not given up hope completly (just mostly) - what i am trying to understand is whether i am eldigble from spots that become vacant from people declining the ILF only or Strs (my second choice) as well.
in any case everything should fall one way or another within the next week or so, though i am allready starting work on my alternatives.

No bump yet... I really doubt any student with a scholarship drops it but somehow I keep hope. It seems a good program but too long (2years).

for selected candidate EMTTLF.I have some question. what is the confirmation that you haven't carried out the activity during 12 months in the last five years in EU? how to confirm it by document or just write in the letter of acceptance to confirm to the committee?
Thanks for the answer

Hi~for the 1st question, I think you may just repeat the sentence:);and for the 2nd one, as stated on the website, you may first confirm it through email, then mail your hardcopies within 20 days after your receipt of the offer.
But I sent my confirmation and mailed the documents, but no reply yet.

You need no document, just the statement via e-mail.

hello guys! i've been admitted to the EMTTLF programme (Strasbourg track) with a scholarship cat. B. Does anybody know if there are some additional scholarships to fully cover the expenses? there is some info on the web-site but it does does not say anything about application procedure or whether it is possible to combine them with EM scholarship. I would also appreciate if anyone could say something about the quality of the programme. I am pretty lost and I doubt this programme is worth paying for it

My understanding is that you are guaranteed to have additional funding to cover full tuition. You are paying zero + getting 12 000 euros for expenses. I turned down the cat. B scholarship last week because I was not interested in the Strasbourg track, but in my opinion if you want to do European business law than this program would be a great choice.

The Strasbourg track on EBL is not a bad option. Bad points of this program, on strasbourg, are:
-Too long (2years compared to others)
-2 years of living have to be paid + you could be working elsewhere
-French required
-Schools are not well known (Deusto specially, and this is half of the diplomma!)
On the other side, I think it has many benefits :)
-you'll learn french
-i believe strasbourg has good reputation
-offers internship
-if the EMTTLF takes two years, I guess it's because the courses will be very tough and therefore they spread it over 2 years...
Do you guys have this program in high regard? I see ILF track has many followers...

After submit the documents, anyone get reply or feedback?
Posted Apr 06, 2011 11:49
Not yet, they are waiting for the EU commission confirmation
Posted Apr 20, 2011 04:57
Anyone knows the deadline of the confirmation of the commission? Most program is within April but EMTTLF has no information.
