dates for the emttlf -

while i fully understand the desire for immediate gratification - the program website clearly states that the forseable date for results is march, so i have no idea why people decided they are due today - wishfull thinking?

if the past is any indication, then results can be expected roughly 3 weeks after the submission deadline (which is EXTREMLY fast) making it the 8th - a good while away.

since the list of accepted applicants would have to be submitted to the EC (to be checked for alidgability for the erasmus scholarship) - hardcover copies provided to the program, and descions concerning attendance made (several people chose not to attend the program after being accepted every year) - all before the end of march i am certain they are making all attempts to hasten the selection process, as is the admistrative pressure at deusto must be immense - so please do not trouble them untill you know for a fact that atleast someone else recived his acceptance.

No one said anything about troubling anyone Lukalaw and there is no "desire for immediate gratification". I was just interested in updates, since I was told EMTTLF has to inform the EC by February 28, and that the selection meeting took place 2 weeks ago. No "wishful thinking" here.

i applied for emttlf too. honestly, i think, it is useless to wait the annoucement resultstonight, much time is needed for assessment process... hope to hear back from Deusto early March/ mid-March.

my best guess still stands at march 8th (if anyone up for a freindly wager?) but in anycase no later then march 20th (using the emle last date for descions = time needed to submit final list to the e.c).

in a related matter, is there anyone out there who got the EMLE full scholarship and is considering to withdraw?

I believe all EM coordinators must send the final list of selected candidates to the EC by the end of February. I got this info from the following document: http://eacea.ec.europa.eu/erasmus_mundus/beneficiaries/documents/action1/emmcapplicform_en.pdf

Therefore, the list is probably ready by now and we should hear from them shortly.

On the other hand -according to the document- it seems the number of scholarships for third country students has been reduced to 8.

I didn't receive any e-mail with results of my application. However, today i did receive general e-mail stating that all lists have been sended to EC and we will be informed about results between 15th and 30th of March. Someone has the same? Any ideas? Cheers.

Hi! I believe that if you received that mail you were nominated for the scholarship, and the final decision from EC will be released in march. I did not received the mail. I guess i was not nominated....

THE EMAIL FROM EMLE:

Dear applicants,

We were recently informed that our first mail about the changes in the notification dates has not reached all of you.

The present state of applications is as follows: All applications have now been reviewed and rated by the Joint Selection Committee of the EMLE. The finalized lists have been sent to the European Commission for confirmation. Once we have received confirmation, invitations will be sent out.

We currently expect to inform all applicants of the results of their application between March 15th and March 31th. Scholarship students will receive a separate mail about their scholarship roughly one week after that date.

Please note that the timeline on the EMLE website was worded misleadingly in this regard and has now been corrected.

My apologies to all who did not receive the first mail. We wish you all the best of luck with your applications!

And it seems yours was from
"Graduate Liaison - Graduate School in Law & Economics

Are we taking about the same thing?
But they are all EMLE.....
How many instututions are in charge of the selection?
