Yap i called them yesterday, and i was told that the process is started for general ones and they will soon (dnt know how soon) ll let me know, as I have applied for IASL.
But frankly speaking this process is trying my patience.

I agree, the wait is very frustrating. I heard back yesterday after waiting for over three months (which I feel is far too long!).
That's good news that they said they will be getting back to you soon though. I don't think you should be worried that you haven't heard yet- they just started sending news last week which means it's very early on in the admission process.

I´m also applying for the IASL. I have not received any mail yet and my MINERVA status is still "Under Review". One of my referees had troubles to upload the reference letter, so I hope everything is OK. Last year, someone posted in this Board that he received the recommendation letter from the Admissions Committee on March 6th. I´m quite nervous. Good luck for all! I´m from Argentina by the way (international student).

Sorry I meant "Ready for Review"

Hello AMatrix !
Happy to see that we are sailing in same boat.

And the point is we cnt predict about date it may go upto April or May. It happened in the past.

Hi there!
I just have a question. I never received any email from McGill to confirm my application was 'complete' unlike starin1. My Minerva status is Ready for review. Is it normal or do you guys received a confirmation email?
Thanks and good luck to all!

I had to check my Minerva! Wouldn't have known my status if I hadn't, to be honest.

Hello Ap23 !
Best to my Knowledge you dnt have to worry as your status is 'Ready for Review'. In case of doubt give them a call.

Hi Shripad, Hi all,
No, I haven't enrolled. I am waiting for an answer from the Graduate Institute of Geneva. Plus, as I will be an international student (from Italy) in the thesis program, so I will wait to see if they will give me some funding. This will certainly guide my choice. I know that McGill have not a lot of funding opportunities, but...never say never! In the matter of funding I called last week to have some infos and Pasqualina said that they have to finish the admission process which will still take some weeks. So just wait... and I hope to have good news soon from you!
PS
Congratulations Uktoug! Which are your area of interest?
Ad maiora!

Thanks Giolia! Congrats to you too :)
I applied for the LLM non-thesis program with a major paper on the law of trusts! Quite excited about the news. I'm in the same position as you though; waiting on another school. I'd be happy to go to McGill though as well.

Congratulations AMatrix!!
Shripad, it's still quite early on in the answering process. From what I understand they send offers to students based on the order that the respective applications were sent in! Did you apply early? I believe the only reason why I heard so early was because I did. I'm basically saying, don't lose hope so soon into the answer period!!
I too am anxiously awaiting an answer from another uni. What's worse is that I applied early there too and am certain I should have heard back by now. This is very frustrating but have faith :)

Yes you are right they are sending offers to students based on the order that the respective applications were completed.
Mine was sent in on 3rd jan and on 19th feb i was asked resubmit my CV which i did it on 21th feb.
On calling them yesterday i am told my application is still under process for calculation of GPA & etc. Once it is done will be placed for review.
which means I need to wait atles for week or two. x_x
