Hello everyone,
I applied to the llm thesis (&non-thesis) stream and my application was complete in December. Judging from previous years' posts, McGill will start to send the responses in early march, when they will communicate their decision to the most part of us.
I have applied to the llm with a concentration in Human Rights, what program did you apply to?

Good luck to you all!

Last week I got mail from McGill, I was asked to resubmit my CV, and last night i got mail stating 'file is now complete and will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee'. It means they have started with the process. Soon we can expect the results. Keeping my fingers crossed. :D

I hope that is true! My application still reads Ready for Review.

Does anyone know what McGill's admission procedure is? I'm pretty sure it's rolling admissions but not 100 percent certain.
Just wondering if they release the offers in cycles based on a 'first come, first serve' basis.

Hi all,
Just to let you know that they have started!
Today I have received an e-mail with the admission offer to the LLM thesis stream. I don't know how to feel about it...I will wait to know if there is some financial aid avaiable. Is there anybody who has also applied for the thesis program?
I knew it was a rolling system, but I am not sure... I have applied in november and my application was complete on december 20.
Good luck to you all!

Hi Giolia !
Very Congratulation.
Happy to see this very morning.
Yes i think they do have financial aid for both 'Thesis & Non Thesis' depending upon nationality of the applicant. Same to be applied on Minerva.
What have you opted for ???
Congrats again.

Hi Shripad,
I have opted for the general LLM with a concentration in human rights & cultural diversity, but now I have some dubts about my "thesis choice" for multiple reasons. I have also applied for a fellowship, at the Center of Human Rights and will apply for a differential fee waiver. I will wait their response to see better my future. Considering that I am an international student, I don't know any other possibility of scholarship... But I'll write you if I discover something new;)

I applied Mcgill in Jan,but the confirmation mail of 'complete' was received last week due to a delay of the processing of one of my ref letters(but actually my referee sent the letter before the deadline of Jan 22).As Mcgill use a rolling based admission,I'm worried that I may not receive the decision before May or they won't consider me for admission at all because the date of completion has passed the last deadline.

That's my worry too! One of my referees had issues filling the online form and had to send his reference in by email. It took forever for the letter to be matched to my file, well past the deadline. i do hope this doesn't mean disaster!!!

Maybe you should call the Graduate Admission Office. I have called millions of times there, for any kind of question, and I have found always very kind and helpful people.

Checked the status of my application; saw about an hour ago that I've been recommended by the department! Very excited.

To everyone who is worried about late submission, as Giolia suggested, I'm sure if you called in, the administration would be able to let you know about your application! I called a few times. Good luck again to everyone :)
