did you receive any email from NYU telling that your application was complete? When did you receive this email?

I heard - from someone doing the NUS LLM - that the NYU@NUS job fair was not quite in line with expectations. Anyone with more information?

I received a confirmation email from the Univ confirming that my application was complete on September 26, 2007.

Subsequently when I wrote to them about the status of the application, I was informed on October 19, 2007 that my application was complete and had been submitted to the Graduate Admissions Committee and was under consideration.

I'm waiting for their decision.

I dont know how one determines the success of a job fair.If ur talking abt big names participating there were big names ,indeed!

David,the firms which came for hiring were mostly looking for Associates ...some for the entry level and some for the lateral and some for both.
Its too early to talk about the job fair as the firms typically take sometime to get back with the results.There would be more rounds of interviews as well.
There were about 10-13 firms which did come and we are also eligible to apply to the NY job fair which happens in January.
For those interetsed in Public Interest,there is help again from NY.
I am delighted to be of help to you applicants.

Salut Lalo,

Well, from the post that I saw in the archives soem ppl got their answer in late December. Posts that I saw on admission reply were starting around December 23. You have to keep in mind that some ppl are wait listed or may get in after someone else declines admission. We are all in the same boat and it seems that the journey only started! I hope that helped. I could not find the link to the archive posts but I'm sure if you browse around you may be able to find them on the site.

I hope ppl start posting when they get a response so we can get an idea of the where we are in the process. For my part, I know will not get a decision that soon as I am going to send in my results for the New York Bar, which will be out in the next few days.

Hi...I can see the anxiety here.Last yr the the results were declared for most of us on the 22nd of December ...like its being said there would be others waitlisted who will be intimated about their positions later.
I can see that there is more diversity in the pool of applications this yr,there was no one from france in our batch.good luck all.

Have you read my other post regarding the fact that my material (toefl, transcripts) has been scanned and uploaded by NYU, in "attachments" on the online application account ? My grades are circled and underlined. Are yours too? Or may be anyone else ? Two ppl already told me theirs had not been scanned, so am I the only one ?

My transcript has not been scanned and uploaded in ¨attachments¨.

Thankfully the waiting is not troubling me too much as I'm too busy working on a transaction. Sleeping properly is what I am looking forward to once the transaction I'm working on finishes. lol. :))))

But seriously I am looking forward to the decision and hope it comes by the end of this week.

I had applied for the program in end October, but I do not see my transcript being uploaded as attachment in the online application.

Any idea.....what does that mean ? i hope its nothing to do with 'n## b#### a######'.......I dont want to even say those words. As for TOEFL I had received a waiver for the same, so that should be k.
