Gonville & Caius College offers the W. M. Tapp studentships in law which are open to new students who receive an offer to study the LL.M. at Cambridge. Studentships are not available for courses in criminology and it is unlikely that candidate for the Master in Corporate Law will be successful.
The value of the studentships will be determined after considering successful candidates' income from other sources, but can include payment of University composition and college fees and a maintenance award. The value is 10,915 GBP for candidates pursuing the LL.M. and 14,553 GBP for candidates pursuing the Ph.D. An additional college studentship of 500 GBP is paid, as may additional payments for travel expenses.
The award of a studentship may be conditional upon the candidate's obtaining satisfactory results in his or her final degree examinations. Successful candidates will become members of the College.
