Energy and the Environment Scholarship
Vermont Law School
Partial to full tuition
The Energy and the Environment Scholarship is awarded to an outstanding Master of Energy Regulation and Law (MERL) student who promises to pursue a career in energy and environmental public service.
This scholarship is intended for students who wish to devote at least the first two years of their career to working for a public sector or public interest organization in the energy field.
Each year the Environmental Law Center's Institute for Energy and the Environment selects a scholar based on three criteria: commitment to reducing the energy sector's impact on the environment, academic excellence, and potential for leadership.
The Scholar receives partial to full tuition for the MERL degree, an externship stipend, and special programming that supports future energy leaders by providing experiential, mentoring, and networking opportunities.
