Still have not heard which I think is a bad sign given it is now 6.45pm EST. However, in looking at past years threads, it seems that they do not make calls just in one day - they often makes calls the next morning too. Let's cross our fingers.

Just got the same e-mail as other ppl, asking for confirmation on mailing address. I believe anyone who got that mail should consider they are not receiving a call.

I hear successful results are given within a day. Since I didn't get the call last evening I presume it is over for me. Esp
Indians in the past have been called around 7pm. I wonder though as to why other successful applicants are not sharing the news.

Thanks 😊 but for now we are in the worst category of "no phone call and no email (confirming address etc)". It gives us a flickering but dying hope. Lets see.

Nothing so far. No status updates on the application portal. They wont send rejection email. Rejection is communicated via letter.

While I love their scholastic eccentricities esp. In my field of constitutional law. Its over use has a maddening effect on us. Why cant they reject on emails.. And update the application portal 😊

It's 9 pm in India and I have given up my hope on Yale. Good luck to those anticipating the legendary call.

"The silence of the lambs" on the Yale thread seems haunting. So I will give a cheerful news. Yale replied to my email that it takes a week to call upon all the successful candidates. So we can still have some hope.

But I do believe that with each passing minute our chances get bleaker. I esp. Want to hear from my Asian friends China, India. Anyone admitted please share.
