I got a call from Yale yesterday that I was admitted.

Same thing here, I got a phone call yesterday.
I wish you all the best of luck.

Congratulations!
I also received a phone call from YLS yesterday, informing me that I have been offered admission.
I have already been been offered admission to some very good schools, but honestly, I never really expected that YLS would open its doors to me. The feeling is fantastic!
I wish other applicants the best of luck!
Best regards,
Kjuris

Congrats, all. I didn't get a call, but it's good to know that the calls have gone out so that I can stop wondering if I'd be admitted.
Posted Mar 08, 2012 16:16
Congrats all! Could any (or all) of you tell us what the application status reads for you on the Status page?

Curious, those who are admitted, do you think you would go to Yale, or are you likely to reject it an go elsewhere?
Posted Mar 09, 2012 20:06
Also got a call... no way I can afford tuition fees, though. Shame.
Posted Mar 09, 2012 20:16
I also got admitted. They have need-based financial aid.
Posted Mar 09, 2012 20:24
Am I right that all of you were admitted Wednesday, or were some of you admitted Friday?
Posted Mar 09, 2012 20:26
I know it was not today but not sure when. Probably yesterday. I am a Fulbright scholar and they informed me today.
Posted Mar 09, 2012 20:28
Congratulations on both the Fulbright and the admissions!
Actually, I just called and they said "not ALL of them" have been informed. But, that sounds like there are a very small number of places remaining. Seems like a curious process, as though they admit their top choices first and then work their way down the list...

Does anybody have an idea as to how much financial aid an individual student can get?
Posted Mar 09, 2012 20:42
I think the idea is that you contribute with an amount within your possibilities. Nobody expects you to sell you home but they do expect you to make some kind of effort. So I think it will depnd on the information and tax returns that you provide. I do not think there is a limit but common sense.

Any idea how many seat Yale has for LLM candidates?
Posted Mar 09, 2012 21:37
25 places

Hi guys...anyone here knows when presumably all rejected students will get an email? I did not get any call from Yale, but I guess almost all the admitted students have been made aware of the admission.
Posted Mar 16, 2012 02:58
Has anyone received a letter of denial? I have not, but I understand that all admission letters have already been sent, right?
Posted Mar 16, 2012 10:01
According to an e-mail I got from Yale on Wednesday, "Decisions will be mailed out next week." and "Decisions are not given by email."
So we will know soon.
So we will know soon.

I actually found out today that I got in. The email came through Fulbright, so I'm not sure when it was sent, but I wouldn't lose up hope.
