I just got the official letter from the Dean of YLS, informing me of my admission to the LLM program. The letter is dated March 10. I got a call on March 13. So, it appears that all decisions have been made on March 10 and people are being called in some sort of order and informed about their admission. So, those of you who havent heard, dont lose heart yet and best of luck!

Congrats, MS. They only enroll 20 and something each year, it shouldn't have taken that long. I am really getting my hopes down...

To all those admitted, congratulations! It's really quite a privilege to have the option to attend YLS. I'm a current LL.M. at the law school, so if you have any questions about the school, program, life in New Haven, etc., send me a message and I'll do my best to respond.

First of all, congratulations to all admitted! I got a call on March 10 and yesterday I received a copy of my admission letter and a notice of intention as pfd files and I was notified that the acceptance letter and the admission packet will be sent out next week via courier. i guess that's the case with you or have you already received the acceptance letter?
@iwc
Thank you very much for your offer!

Yes, the same's the case with me as well. A friend who got in also got the same mail and documents. The mail says that the courier will be sent out next week. Was the 'New Student Data Form' attached to your mail? It was'nt attached to our mails.

No, it wasn't.
The files attached were a
copy of the official acceptance letter from Dean Asha Rangappa, the Notice
of Intention form, and the Financial Aid application .

How do they deal with time difference with Asian countries? It is just the other way round, and I wouldn't expect they'd make the calls outside normal working hours?

I got a call at around 2330 hrs (Indian Standard Time). I guess they keep in mind the time difference before calling. Where are u from?

do you think it is safe to assume that those of us who have not yet heard from Yale have not been admitted? I wasn't really expecting to be, just need closure......
