So it appears as if some people have gotten in and rejected recently, those of you still waiting to hear from NYU should definitely check to see if you can log into the admitted students site. Texasaggie and Shoortie have you heard anything?

Setho:
Sorry, been MIA lately; studying for the Bar (anyone else also studying for the Bar?) I got rejected a few weeks ago, so I'm headed to Florida.

Sorry to hear about the rejection, I'm sure you'll have a great time at Florida, especially with the nicer weather than NY. Maybe we'll cross paths if the NYU and UF DC job fairs are held around the same time.

in. found out about a week ago. will not be attending though. going to gtown instead.

so why did you choose gtown shoortie? Was it the runaround NYU gave you or was DC more appealing, or was it some other factor?

hi setho, i got full ride to d.c. so the $ factor was big in my decision. and i signed a lease in d.c. before i find out about nyu. i can always break the lease and pay a fine...but i think at the end, i just don't want to go through the trouble of flying out to nyc, looking for apt, finding new movers, etc. in the midst of bar study.

Wow, so strange that NYU strung you along for such a long time while georgetown gave you a full ride. I don't think I will ever understand the way admissions people think.
Good luck in DC, see you at the job fair in February.
