What do you think would be better choice for business law/corporate governance focus: Penn Law or Berkeley?
Both are great universities, altough recently Penn is slightly higher in all rankings than Berkeley. Anyways, Berkeley means Californian sun. On the other hand, I received a welcome package from Penn Law and it simply hit me with the outstanding quality of the classes: courses are very focused, revolve around a specific topic in the field, not a field itself in general and it seems that they are very business oriented. Does anyone have any clue about the content of the courses at Berkeley? How do they look in practice? Any help will be much appreciated since we are all right now facing difficult choices :)

Hi Eurofan, congratulations on your offers!!! :) I'm not exactly the expert in this field but I believe Penn has a stronger program on corporate law and governance, and the Wharton Certificate has intensified such program even further. I've actually checked the courses that they're offering under the Wharton School of Business and they're perfect courses to complement the law courses that are available at Penn. And Penn also moved up one spot in the most current ranking, which just came out a couple of weeks ago.
This is not to say however, that Berkeley isn't good because it is likewise a great school! But I believe their strength is on international law and constitutional law. Hope that helps..
By the way, congratulations too on receiving the package! They said they're sending us one but I haven't gotten mine yet. How long did yours arrive from that time that you get the Penn offer via email? :) Thanks.

Hi guys, just wondering, I was admitted to upenn-Wharton, Georgetown, LSE and Boston University ( half scholarship). I am still waiting for Columbia. I am a corporate/ financial (capital market and banking) lawyer.
All my deadlines are on April 1. Which program do you recommend? I was admitted to specific programs in all universities (except penn that is general). If I pay upenn is that mean that I have to withdraw all other applications?
What about Philadelphia? For me the city is kind of important too. Best and thank you all

Hi everyone, is it possible to pay the initial deposit via cards and not by way of transfer?
