Hi. Just wanted to check with those admitted, the first deadline to accept the offer from upenn is April 1, right? I seem to recollect reading march 15 as one of the deadlines. Would hugely appreciate if guys could confirm. Thanks.

The deadline is April 1st. However, people who got scholarships have to accept the offers earlier.

Wow, congrats! 2 scholarships, that is indeed impressive.

If you don't mind, kindly tell us a little about yourself, where you're from and if you work for a private law firm/company, the government or NGO.

Thanks! About myself - I'm a human rights lawyer at an ngo in India, working primarily on lgbt rights and free speech, for the last 2 years. Had very average grades in law school, was on two law reviews, and have a bunch of publications including a monograph and a forthcoming piece in the Yale human rights journal. Have also taught courses at 4 Indian universities.

I will enroll to Berkeley, so I'm going to decline Penn's admission offer in the next few days.

Good luck for those who are waiting!

Just got an e-mail notifying that all financial aid decisions have been sent. I did not get any aid, so farewell Penn.

So does anyone have any idea as to the conversion rate- from waitlist to admission?

Hi I am on the waitlist too. Could you find the waitlist to confirmation rate? Where are you planning to enroll as of now?

I am also going to decline, and many more are going to decline. All those who are wait-listed - DO NOT LOSE HOPE! Many seats will become available after April 1st.
