Got accepted to the full-time tax program today as a domestic candidate. Completely over the moon!

Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Many congratulations! Do you think you will go or do you now to get join me in my daily debate of where I'm going to attend?

Alwayswaiting - daily debate for sure! I am pulling for NYU. But my husband is not thrilled about living in NYC for a year. I'm hoping a visit might change his mind. My mind changed every day about where to attend even before I got accepted, now I can only see it getting worse. :-)

Today is definitely an NYU kind of day though.

Yes, I submitted my app on November 30, just before the deadline, and I got my completion mail on Jan 10.
Good vibes in the wait for all!

The admissions materials I received in the mail seem to say the admitted students site will not open until March.

congrats again. Did you hear anything about scholarships yet? Which one did you apply for?

Also, does anyone know whether they decide about scholarships after they have reviewed all applications or as they go along? It seems weird that they would award before they have considered all applications!

@ goodstar: that's exactly what makes me wonder whether they do have rolling admissions!

In my packet it says that any scholarship awards would be separate and from the graduate tax program itself (the admission packet was from the graduate program more in general). I seem to remember reading on this board or another board that some people who were offered the tax law review scholarship heard a few weeks after they were admitted - but still well before all the admissions decisions were made.

I don't think they'll be giving out decisions until mid-to-late March. I got my ''complete application'' email on November 11th, so don't worry guys.

Thanks! I didn't apply for any of the big scholarships (like the Houser and the others which required an additional application or essay). The admissions materials do say that if you're offered one of the large scholarships, you'll be notified with your offer of admission. Tax scholarships apparently come later.

Good luck everyone!

I applied to it too.
As I come (and live in) from Brazil, the application process is simply something that makes me very anxious, even more because I do not know if I must send few, much or none supplementary materials.
Last year I waitlisted MSC in Law and Finance in Oxford. I do not know if I can even do the same in regards to the NYU LLM. I sure hope to be offered a place.
Does any one know how many places are offered?

According to their website the LL.M. class (all specializations in NYC only) consisted of 425 students last year. Unfortunately, their are no numbers for the various specializations.
