Tracking progress of NYU LLM application

I was accepted this week. I did not apply for any of the bigger scholarships. I'll likely be deciding between here and Georgetown for next year.

This is the domestic LLM program.

Congrats DeaconCave06!

Can I ask which program you applied to and when you received your complete email?

Looks like March isn't necessarily set in stone.

cheers

Corporation LLM in NYC with foreign credentials, you should receive an answer in very early March.

Does anyone know when international applicants for the traditional LL.M are likely to start receiving decisions?

I applied in November and I am still waiting. They did request that I send a transcript for my Fall semester and I just sent that in a few weeks ago. I received an email stating that my application is now complete. Did anyone else have to send in their Fall semester transcript?

LSAC re-sent my report. There was a simple mistake in my Secondary Education. "CERTIFICATE", and not "DIPLOMA".

This will jeopardize my chances, as the admissions are given on a rolling basis, and now I must be the latest one to have his application assessed...

THANK YOU, LSAC!

:S sorry to hear that.. in my case LSAC took 2 month to make my report while some of my friends got theirs in 10 days.

Anyway, we still have chances! My app for NYU was complete on Jan 12.. just have to wait.

BTW, any news about admissions for foreign LLM??

I'm from Israel. Still didn't get any response. Got my 'application complete' email on November 30 (applied to New York Corporation LLM). Did anyone get an answer?

I was told by NYU:

Decisions are sent via email & generally are sent out after April through mid June.

I think they are just being very conservative. Last year they started to release decisions in March..

You got to be kidding?! After April is like... that is the deadline that most schools set for admitted students to decide!

You should rather expect a decision from very early to mid March.

Well, my wife has already heard back from NYU. However, it was only to inform her that they would hold her application until the results of her final exam (1. Staatsexamen in Germany) are in. They would make a decision as soon as those are available.

This at least means they are going through the applications. :-)

From memory, mid-March was cited as the time NYU would start sending out offers (though this is not to say that in practice, they haven't sent offers slightly earlier than this in the past and this time around).
