I wasn't at home, but he was so kind as to call me at my cell phone (don't ask me why the UPS guy has my cell phone number - a very efficient procedure but I wouldn't study privacy law at NYU); I asked him to leave the package to my neighbours.

Yep, i had a nice UPS parcel waiting for me today as well. At the moment, I have received two offers from Cambridge and NYU. Are others likely to accept NYU?

Thanks, figaro, I hope we both receive good news soon. Based on previous experience with other schools, if they sent my mail together with the European's packages, the local mail should bring me the news up to tomorrow...

I received NYU package yesterday and got Hauser Scholarship. Although Im deeply aware of the prestige that Hauser has, I always wanted to go to Harvard and I havent heard anything from them, and I have to decide weather to accept NYU by the end of the next week. I would appreciate if you could comment the relevance/prestige of Hauser vs. Harvard. Thank you very much in advance!

Did all of the admission decisions came by UPS or by regular mail??
I called the admissions office and they told me they were sending letters as we speak by regular mail...does this mean the im out?

Hey gmx! Congrats on the Hauser Scholarship! You must have a really strong background. I think its difficult to answer your question unless we know what ur career goals or specialization are and what country you will work in...
If I were you, I would contact some Hauser scholarshipholders from previous years to ask for their opinions - ask them specifically about why they think Hauser outweighs HLS (they would probably tell you that) and see if you agree with them and if Hauser matches your career goals. Also try to get in touch with lawyers or professors you know (depending on what you want to do later) to see what they think. But I guess that you already did all this...
