NYU Offers?

PaulaK

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I hope they will give me a reply soon. Though I realize that though I completed my application through LSAC to NYU by the 15th Dec, NYU did not receive my documents until almost a month later!

Does that mean that my chances of getting in are smaller? The suspense is unbearable. I'd love to get in to NYU.

I asked if there was a possibility for expedited decision, but no such luck. Columbia though went along with my request.

I wish I had some insight into the minds of the admissions committees...

I also completed my LSAC application on the last day of the deadline and NYU received my LSAC report mid-january, and I received my admission offer today. Don't worry, I don't think that the fact that they received your docs later has any impact on your chances of getting in!

Will any more results be released today? Let's hope so. Positive results.

Traditional LLM. I no longer have a status date, just the sentence stating that I received a decision by email. Yesterday my status date was still January 12 as well. Keep your fingers crossed :-)

Damn, my current status date is 11/3/2011. I'm applying to the full-time domestic tax program. I am also a 3L so I had a feeling that they would wait for my fall grades, but damn it has been a while.

Hello everyone,

I have been admitted in the International Business Regulation, Arbitration and Litigation program; I applied on December 6th 2011 and I am from France.

I have also been admitted in Duke U and I was wondering which one would be the better choice. I know this is not the right post to do such a thing but if you may answer me, I would be really grateful.

Thank you very much

Hi Thibaut,

Congrats for your admission! If I were you I would definitely choose NYU. I think NYU offers one of the best programm for International Arbitration and has a strong reputation for it, in the US and abroad. I also think its location in NY is something to take into account, especially for the connections you can make. So chose NYU!

I was offered a full-tuition scholarship at NYU, but am not sure if I wait for Harvard (in this case, I would have to miss the deadline for the scholarship offer).

Judging by the app tracker more people from corporate already received an offer... I wonder if they are already done with the offers or should we wait a little longer...
