Can those who have been admitted give some generic information on their background? US Law school versus Foreign, work experience, other achievements/degrees? Thank you

Did you apply for nyu@nus only, or for both locations? If you applied for both locations was your first choise nyu or nyu@nus?

I also heard from NYU@NUS the day before. Have got the 20k award too. Does anybody have any idea of how the graduates of the previous years have been placed etc?

Hi and congrats to all the admitted! I had myself applied to NYU without putting NUS as first choice, but I had big expectations on the dual program since I know it's the one where we are more likely to get scholarship.
I am just curious -sorry if this is duplicating- did you guys apply to NUS only, or did you put NUS as your first choice between the two?

An additional question: does anyone have an idea about when are Hauser and Singapura offers normally sent out?

NUS was my second choice. In fact the offer letter recognises the fact and says that while I can opt for both New York or Singapore, the scholarship would be likely to be available only for Singapore.

So they told you the scholarship is available only for nus, but what about nyu? did you at least was admitted there?

They have clarified that I have been admitted to the program at New York also. Just that the scholarship is likely to be available for Singapore only. I assume that this would be the case with everybody who has got through!

I applied both for nyu and nus, but my first choise was nyu.
does anyone know, if it means that i have to hear from them in january (same as nus applicants - and they'll give desicion about both programms) or in february-march (same as ny applicants)?....
if i won't be admitted to nus is there a chance i'll still be admitted to nyu and get a scholarship (or won't get a acholarship)? ....
when is the deadline for nus admission?.... i guess the beggining of february, right? and what about the scholarships, is there stil hope?

thesaffron - don't jump into conclusions so quickly. The admission process is made on a rolling basis. This means that people that applied before you will also get their results before you. It doesn't necessarily show that your academic results are not good enough. Patience, my friend. It is only January. We still have a long process a head of us.

for those who got 20k subsidy, up to when are you supposed to pay the tuition to seal the enrollment? how much tuition is needed to deposit?

I got admitted to the NYU@NUS program and I'm really happy. Just a few hours later another offer from the LSE arrived. But the decision was easy: NYU@NUS is such a cool program, especially for me as a European. I can't wait to get to know Asia and the U.S.
