I just bit the bullet and accepted. If they offer you money for holding out, let me know so I can kick myself in the pants

You just pay your seat deposit and submit the form... just like it says in the admission packet and the admitted students website

me too.
Do you think we can still get the Hauser Scholarship too?
Hauser seems difficult at this stage, but I'm hoping NYU will bump us up if people above us reject their scholarship offers in favour of Harvard/Yale/Stanford/Columbia, etc.
Are you sure they have an order to give the scholarships? How do you know?
I spoke with an admissions officer and they confirmed that they don’t enhance scholarships even if other people give up their scholarships and decide not to enroll. Looks like the scholarship decisions are really final and non-negotiable. The only exception is Hauser, because they take 10 students every year, so if someone drops out of Hauser, they will push someone up to fill in that space.
me too.

Just got an email from NYU Tax LLM saying they can't offer me a scholarship and the deadline is April 15. Well thanks, after all this waiting.

Hi. Did anyone apply for the Impact Scholarship?
Hi!
Yes! I applied for the Impact Scholarship. Did you? And if that is the case, did you receive confirmation that they got your e-mail?

Hi, is there anyone here that has enrolled and paid the deposit but has not received the student ID yet? And for those who have received the student ID, how long does it takes since you confirmed your enrollment?
Hi! At this point you may have already received your student ID! I received it two business days after enrolling. Which program have you applied for?

Yes, I applied. They haven't acknowledged receipt of the submission though. I wonder when the results will be out.

quick question - NYU's doc about the dean's graduate award, as well as their T&C's on the enrollment page say that you commit to not being a ""deferred student at another institution, withdraw from all admission offers you have received, and not initiate any new applications nor request reinstatement at an institution from which you have withdrawn in order to accept the award and enroll at NYU".
What about being wait-listed? can you accept their offer and if and when you get accepted wherever you were wait-listed you just lose the 500$ deposit?
thanks!

More decisions will start rolling out towards the end of the month and going into May. By the end of May, nearly all applicants will have a decision. I cannot cite my sources- just know that I know what I know.

I don't believe that there are many lawyers that would bet all "money on one bet". So I think this is not an option for a good lawyer. As a result, NYU could get those students who weren't admitted to other law schools!
