Has anybody received a Hauser email yet?

Are Hauser emails expected to be out so early? Based on posts from last year and the year before that, I think they're expected to be released around March 17-21.

I am beginning to get worried. My application was complete in late november. Haven't heard from them since then. Does anybody knows when do they begin to send out rejections?

My application was complete on the 8th of November and also haven’t heard. In earlier posts acceptances seem to continue for a little while still. I have sent more exam results to LSAC and am waiting for them to be processed

I’m in the same boat! The lack of transparency in the timing of the decision-making process is really frustrating

Hi Everyone,

I'm an applicant from India. Have received admission offers from NYU (IBRLA) on 29th Jan and Columbia (General) on 14th Feb. Columbia has however denied offering financial aid, while NYU is still considering it. Few questions that you can help me with:

1) Has anyone received a decision on their financial aid request from NYU?
2) Which school to choose from, in terms of better job prospects?

I have not heard back from NYU regarding scholarships/financial aid yet. Generally, that decision is expected by mid-March.

Honestly, there isn't too much of a difference between NYU and Columbia in terms of quality. Columbia is usually seen as being more prestigious because of the Ivy League tag. Ultimately, the choice is up to you, but you can't go wrong with either NYU or Columbia!

However, if you're looking at doing an LLM just to increase your chances of getting a job, it may, in my opinion, be better to choose CLS over NYU. However, as you might be aware, landing a job in the US as a foreign lawyer with an LLM is extremely, extremely tough.

As regards your first question, I haven't heard back from NYU regarding financial aid. I reckon that that communication will happen sometime around March 17-21.

When will NYU notify us the result of rejection? I should decide whether to proceed enrollment process of other law school by April 1st, but there is no response from NYU.

Do you think at this point we’ve been rejected or waitlisted?
