Requirements list still there, no response one way or the other :( the wait is painful.

GUYS PLEASE URGENT.
About the phone call you receive to inform you about the admission and the subsequent scholarship, Is the number from NY with the dialing code +1 212? Or do they use a call center abroad to place the call?
This is because I just missed a phone call from a non US number (and obviously not from my country's either), and I was wondering if it was a call from NYU or is it one of those hoax phone calls.
Argh this couldn't have happened at a worst time.

Hi everyone! Best wishes to those still waiting to hear, and congratulations to those who have already received the good news.

I wanted to make sure that everyone is aware that there is a Facebook Group for those new LLM's who will be graduating in 2015 (the 2014-15 class), and it is located at:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/NYULLM2015/

There you will find alumni and new students to connect with, a place to have your questions answered, and free doughnuts.*
*Doughnuts limited to availability.

2 questions!!!

1. Is your requirement list empty right now?
2. What is the exact number?

The Office of Graduate Admission's number, which is listed on the bottom of the application status page, is (212) 998-6060. Hopefully someone who has received a call can confirm this.

It turned out to be one of those hoax calls.
The number was all over the internet, its a Congolese number wtf.
What an awfully bad timing.
Back to frustration then.

Anyone (besides me) still waiting for a response from International Legal Studies LLM?

I am, but I asked the office of graduate admissions to update my resume on february 27, so I guess (and hope!) that I will take a little longer than the rest.

Okay, same for me.

My application was not completed until last week since LSAC forgot to send my TOEFL to NYU -_-
So I am guessing that this fact slows down the time of my application to be completed!
So I just called and they said that we could get an answer anytime from NOW to May....
I can't wait anymore !!!!

I believe this timeframe is only for applicants who did not complete their file before december 16.

Mine has said that for months now.

I couldn't stand the wait and called office today. I know from the posts that some US students have received admissions already, so was a bit panicked. The very nice woman on the phone said they do "international students first."

As an international student I should be happy to hear this but it makes me a bit sad for US students really... It's your own universities, surely it should be the other way round! But then again the best unis have the highest demand.

Thx so much and congrats, again.

I think they have to sort out visas for int'l students, so that makes sense. They don't give any of us much time to prepare for the move, esp those coming from overseas. Wow- they are causing all this stress all over the world now!
