Jessie, it's normal. It usually has three items before it goes blank, as far as I know.

Do you know how many llm candidate will be granted the scholarship?

Hi,

I got my NYU admission for the Corporation Law LLM. The email / package did not mention any scholarship or financial aid.

Has anyone got any scholarship offers / financial aid packages from NYU? If yes, can you let me know.

Thanks,
Arnav

Me neither. And none of the applicants that I know got scholarships. Seems to be weird this year. But well, I was told the LL.M. is the US law schools new cash cow - they need the money due to reducing JD applicants.

I wish they would just get it over with and deliver that final blow.

Been reading these posts for days but just decided to join the conversation. It's way too early to give up tzagc! From looking at posts for the last two years, people were getting admissions on a reasonably regular basis for 10 days or so from the first admissions, and then still on an irregular basis after this. It's only been three days. We could find our requirements list vanishing/receive an admissions email any time!

I have already check my status 3 times today (and it was night time in NYC:) ). My list still stays there... I see that there is only 2 people admitted to Competition, Innovation program. (at least on this board.)

I really wonder whether they review the applications by the program or country...?

Hey 1234 and thank you. You're right, but the worst thing is when we go into the period of irregular basis admissions. That's even worse than getting rejected, as you already received offers from other schools that require your confirmation. So either you wait for the school that's making you wait, or you confirm another offer and risk the chance of losing the offer of the school you really want.

As I understand it from reading past years blogs (really should be getting some real work done here!), you can send a copy of your AD letter from other programmes to NYU admissions, and ask that they expedite the review of your case so that you can make an informed choice in time for your deadline. They are clear to make no promises, but it seemed to work in some cases.

Good to know that there are other people around obsessively checking their online status!

Even I received an offer this morning. However, no financial aid. Has anyone checked with the admissions office either by email or call about when the scholarships decisions be out? Or going by the small typed line written at the end of the email, do we assume that we won't receive any scholarship?

I may have to put down a deposit in d next few days for a college which is not my first choice, but since its taking time with nyu, the deposit must be paid. I just wanted to know, does anyone have this kind of dilemma or maybe u have already paid for a seat in some college... It just seems a little unfair to other applicants when u block a seat somewhere, forfeit later and loose out on d deposit tool

What you can do, is send an e-mail to the concerned person/entity and ask that your deposit payment deadline be delayed. That's what I did.
This is why it is such a hindrance to wait for NYUs decision.

Omg!! is that actually possible?? Do colleges really care that ur waiting for a decision from somewhere else... ??? I thought that the whole point of having an early deadline was to force applicants to make a hurried decision

Not necessarily, if you got accepted without a scholarship, it actually means that they need you, either to heighten their academic level, or by paying the whole tuition so they can benefit, or even both. So yes, you can ask for a delay.

Yes they actually care!
I asked for the deadline to be extended for two weeks.
Got a reply one inute later saying it was not a problem.
