NYU LL.M. Applicants 2022-2023

Anyone admitted to ITP yet? I was admitted last year but I asked for deferral due to covid and funding. I was asked to reapply (with waiver of application fee) instead.

It would be a bummer if I dont get in this year.

I also applied to the International Tax Program, however from what I see from past threads, this specific program is the very last one to start releasing admissions, normally around the third and the fourth week of February.

Yeah i checked my email from last year and I got the letter February 18. So we have two more weeks of waiting to do. Waaaaah:(

How are you guys? It is somewhat painful for me to wait the result. I applied to NYU traditional llm course on 17th Dec 2021 and it has been completed on 20th Jan 2022.

You know, NYU gives lots of admissions (over 450) to LLM applicants every year. Is there anyone who can roughly estimate how many applicants (2022-2023) have received admission so far ?

Hi! I do not think you should be worried just because of the delay. Every year people get admissions well into March, and it is not on merit  at all. A friend of mine got his mid-Febr last year and NYU was so keen on having him that the Dean sent him a handwriting note saying that they hoped he would choose them. Do not be disheartened

Is there anyone who still hasn't received any decision for the traditional LLM? I am getting nervous knowing that many are already admitted...

me neither. It’s a big class, and they’re probably admitting twice the actual number of spots. Whatever happens, happens

Me! I submitted my application on the deadline. I still haven't received the application complete email, even though my LSAC documents were processed in September itself!

My application was not marked complete for about a month. I then sent them an email enquiring about the status of my application. Although they didn’t respond to the email, my application was marked complete on the portal soon after and I received a completion email thereafter. I suggest that you write them an email

Have all your documents been processed? Maybe you can try calling LSAC for an update
