nothing here. So frustrated. I submitted my application in early December but it wasn’t marked complete until 1 March. No idea what the delay was about. Hurry up NYU, you’re killin me!

Hey! Can anyone say (from the admitted students WhatsApp group maybe) how many people have already been admitted to the LLM program in ILS? Application was marked complete end of January.

I’ll keep my fingers crossed for all of us, maybe we will hear sth on another day this week.

The main group has about 252. The CIIL group has about 25. I’m not certain that indeed everyone in the group has been admitted but that should give you a general estimate.

Hey!

Do your online checkers (under application status) ready only the term, year, degree and program time?

There is no indication that my application is under review or anything to that effect. I have already received both the acknowledgment and completion emails from NYU though.

Yes, that's exactly what's under "Application Status".

I applied just before the deadline on 19th December and still haven't received the completion email telling me the app has been forwarded to the review process. Has anyone else who applied around the 19th/20th received that email?

I applied on the 13th and got the "application received" email, but never received an email after that. I got anxious and emailed them on 28 Feb asking if my application had been forwarded for review yet. They said it had, and that they would "re-send" me the email confirmation. I finally received that confirmation on 1 March. But until that date, the application status check still just said that my application had been received, but not forwarded to the review process. The fact that a few of us are having that issue makes me wonder if they had some sort of glitch in their email system?

Hi guys! I was admitted to the International Legal Studies LLM program. I completed my application in mid-December and received the decision e-mail on Jan 25th. It was the first Law School that sent me their decision! However, I still have no scholarship decision. Last week there was a zoom with admitted students and NYU's financial office, and I asked about their decision timing. They said that their emails are sent at the end of March, but in some cases, they might send them later. If we had any other LLM offerings from another school, and we had until April 1st to reply to those, they asked us to request a deferral for our confirmation. So, it was like "wait until we send you our notification" thing. I hope this information is useful!

Im sorry to be annoying :) but if someone can tell me how many domestic tax people are in the whatsap group, I would really appreciate it. I know they only have like 20 slots, so this will give me an idea of how hopeless I should be lol.
