Hey! Can anyone post the link for the CIIL admitted students Whatsapp group. I’ve been admitted but was unaware of any such group.

Last week there was a zoom with admitted students and NYU's financial office, and I asked about their decision timing. They said that their emails are sent at the end of March, but in some cases, they might send them later.


Hello, I'm probably being paranoid but does this mean that all admission offers have been sent out? And in the event that they will still admit people in the next few weeks, they won't be offered funding?

Hi guys,

Finally got my acceptance letter last Tuesday, haven’t been this excited in a long time. Just hope it is possible to solve the financing. Anyway, I tried to join the WhatsApp group(s?) but it says it’s full. Is it possible to change the number of members for the creators?

Would be great to talk with you guys! And good luck to everyone, I’m cheering for you.

I want to believe that those whose admission decision was sent during these days will be considered for financial aid (but maybe not for Vanderbilt and Hauser scholarships). Keep in mind that -as far as I remember- NYU Law School has its own financial aid schemes. Let's keep faith and remain positive.

I want to believe that those whose admission decision was sent during these days will be considered for financial aid (but maybe not for Vanderbilt and Hauser scholarships). Hey! Did anyone receive the Dean's scholarship? I just got an email offering me $45,000. Does that mean we don't qualify for the Hauser Global Scholarship?

I'm afraid you're right :( those who got the Dean's scholarship aren't considered for Vanderbilt, Podell and Hauser scholarships, as far as I can recall

wld any know if the dean's merit is announced over several days? I saw in the previous years it had been, but dunno if ppl were reporting late or the emails actually came in waves.

If it does come in waves, would anyone know what the rationale is between staggering it out? esp if each wave is before the acceptance deadline.

To 2023-24 admits:
There is no correlation between your date of admission and possibility of getting scholarship.
