That email should be to all admitted students. I (and some of the admitted students I know) also got that email although I received the admission package on 10th Dec via fedex. Therefore I think those who have yet received emails from them are either deferred or rejected, and the airmail should be on the way.

how long did it take for the status of your application to turn into "Complete" after all documents were received by LC?

My materials reached GULC on Nov. 14, and I went "complete" around Dec. 4.

If it matters, it took about 3 weeks for me to receive my decision packet from the date that all of my materials were received by the admissions committee. Because I'm domestic, they sent the packet via U.S. mail, not Fedex. Also, I applied online.

The admissions office told me the online applicants cannot access the online status checker, and so I never knew when they made the decision.

That said, I received the "application complete" email on November 25, and my package was mailed by Georgetown on December 15.

Well, I just got a PDF version of the decision letter emailed to me by GULC. I've been waitlisted till March. :(

Thanks! I received a holiday card from them today, too. When I saw it in the mailbox, I feared it was a note stating that they made a mistake.

I applied for the LL.M in International Business and Economic Law programme. Am a foreign applicant.

I received air mail from GULC.
They say that
"The Committee is unable to approve your request for admission at this time because of your TOEFL scores. However, your excellent professional and academic achievements indicate that you would be a strong candidate for Georgetown's new Two-Year LL.M, for which the Committee encourage you to apply. If you would like to be considered for the Two-Year LL.M., please notify the Graduate Admissions Committee."
What do you think about this? If I notify the Graduate Admissions Committee that I would apply for the Two-Year LL.M., I would enter the GULC?
And Is there anyone who received such mail?

Does it matter from what country an applicant is? I mean for the purpose of diversity, don't University want a diverse body of students?... I am just curious.

I'm not sure if it matters what country the applicant is from. They are definitely looking for a diverse student body, though.
