Status changed to "decisions" just now. Do they work at 5:00 am local time...?

I actually think that sometimes the statuschange is not directly linked to what they do with your application cause if the status of "isthatso" changed in about an hour after he talked to the secretary I can't imagine that they stopped doing what they where doing at that moment and worked through his whole supporting materials in just an hour... I really don't get what they do with our applications..I called them to see why my status is still "applied" almost two months after I submitted my documents but they just told me that at the moment they are not able to say anything about a specific application status and not to worry and that I can write them an email if I have further concerns.... so I will just try to be patient....anyone's status changed in the past days??

to all of u guys whose status is still applied: cornell sent me an email today that for my status to change to complete the TOEFL scorer eport is still missing. I ordeerd the report on January 2nd and checked back with ETS and they definetly delivered the report on that day. I hope Cornell will believe me that I already ordered a score report. I ordered now a second one... the guy from TOEFL was really nice and told be that he has a lot of students calling because a report has never been received by the college they applied to. I'm glad I wrote them an email cause if not I would have never found out. I hope they still consider my application because there is no "real"proof that the report has been send in the beginning of january...
so check back with cornell because the applied status might probably mean that something is missing, or, as in my case, was lost....

once again me: so I just talked to the secretary on the phone and she found a few score reports yesterday evening, hopefully mine is among them, so a few of us who are waiting for a long time for their status to be complete will get that mail today or on monday.

sorry to bother you, but I still don't understand how Cornell is carrying out its admissions. first of all, I have no such password to check my status on-line, and I don't know where to search either. I just got an " application complete" e-mail several weeks ago, and then nothing else... what about you? thank you for sharing. best of luck!

you have to create an account using your first and last name, and email adress of your application.

The login is the same used to access your on-line application. When I first accessed it, I received an email with the following content:

"Hi, XXXXXX. Thanks for starting your online application to the Cornell Law School. You can return any time to the online application website by going to http://support.law.cornell.edu/admissions/applications/login.cfm and logging in using the username and password you originally submitted."

As far as I am aware, they have already started releasing decisions in the last week of January.

The process will go on until April so it really depends on Cornell. Have a look at your application status - mine says "Completed" while some people already have it as "Decision".

My status was changed from complete to decision on Feb.9. It's expected that the ad office will mail the result to me within 10-14 days. I know somebody who got decision on Jan.28 received the result by mail on Feb.6.

Unfortunately no decisions released to me yet. The only one was Chicago where I was waitlisted :(

At least you are waitlisted:) I was rejected by Chicago directly.

to those who already got a decision: do you receive an email when the status changes to decision or do you have to check your status online to find out?

think you have to check the status website yourself.....maybe daily? not every 2 minutes! heheh
