Hey guys i have an offer from cornell and BU. i need some advice as to which one i should go for. Iam interested in corporate law. I knw cornell is ivy bt am nt sure whether its good in corporate law. on the other hand, BU offered me llm in american law with a specialisation in international business practice (corporate law). which of the two is a better offer?

i also have applied. I just received the email stating that my application was complete on 5 April.

Considering Cornell Admission is rolling-basis, i do not have much to expect. My application was received exactly on the due date, which is 1 February.

They said to me that i should wait for decision on Mid-April. Btw, im From Indonesia.

Hey i paid the deposit too and I was told that information concerning housing and orientation has been sent but I havnt received it. This was two weeks ago. I also sent my form of declaration of finances but I was told that a different department handles finances.

I wanted to know what were your thoughts about chosing Berkeley over Cornell or vice verca. I really don't know what the good decision is.

It really depends on your preference amongst these two law schools.

well, I havent heard from Cornell yet, but I am assuming I'll have some news soon.... and in the evnet I am admitted, I don't know what I should choose....
I just don't which university is better. i know Cornell is an Ivy and has great reputation, and I wonder if berkeley's history and reputation is as good as cornell's. What do you think Lawfirms and professionals prefer? Are this Universities better recognized in a particular field? (mine would be corporate/international transcations).

Of course this is a thought only on the academic side, because for what relates to the campus, the life styyle etc. berkeley has seduced me 100%!

i have not heard about my admission from Cornell until now. In 5 April, Cornell mailed me stating that my application was complete before the dateline and i should wait until mid April for the decision.

don't worry; I am in the same situatio, and I know other students who are to. So I think we will be hearing of them sometime soon.
