Thanks in advance.

Thanks lilijane, I have deadline at the end of the week as well. I think I will have to ask them to expedite today as it does not look they will have all decisions issued by the end of March as I was told before. Best of luck!

Yesterday I sent the CLS a short letter to emphasize my desire to be accepted and then received their response some hours later that stated they will inform me as long as they make the decision. Later on I heard someone as my nationality got admitted today.
No so long ago (less than 30 mins) I received my status letter--rejection letter...it's pretty short:
"Dear Ms. XXX:
We regret to inform you that after careful consideration of your application for admission to our LL.M. Program, the admissions committee has concluded that we are unable to offer you admission. To date this year's applicant pool is the most highly qualified in our history; competition for admission has never been more intense.
Thank you for your interest in Columbia Law School and for your personal investment in our selection process. We wish you continued success and satisfaction in your legal career.
Sincerely,___"
Well, I would rather see more detailed reasons and comments on my file...maybe their work load're too heavy...anyway, I replied them immediately to inquire further information.
Hope those still waiting for their email will be admitted soon!!

thanks--lilijane. I am okay. I understand these two schools are all good choice. Thanks for CLS's help that I become firmer to my future plan.
By the way, here I really appreciate the effectiveness of their response speed in some way.

Hi Guys!
Firstly, congratulations to all who have been given acceptance offers by Columbia.
I request people who have decided to take admissions elsewhere, to send their emails stating rejection of offers at the earliest. This would really help other applicants who have not been informed about their decision/waitlisted candidates.
Thanks in advance!
