Nope - I requested for expedited decision a week ago - no reply, no acknowledgment either. Even if everyone starts writing to them requesting expedited decision, they can still only review so many applications at one time. I'm sure a LOT of people have already requested expedited decision and a lot more will, and the process will still remain random, especially at the eleventh hour.

I did not explicitly ask for an expedited decision, but also wrote and informed them that I have to observe deadlines and would be pleased, if the Financial Aid Decisions would come before these deadlines ... Hoping the best :-)

Hi, in the past, I requested expedited decision on financial aid and I was successful. I got tuition waiver. Do not hesitate to do the same if you need to know the decision on Fin aid to make your own decision on accepting an offer

Just got the admission offer from Columbia yesterday - moments before I was about to send an e-mail asking for an expedited decision. However, the admission offer does not contain a decision on financial aid. I know the CLS homepage says that financial aid decisions are rendered throughout May, but does anyone know from previous years when Columbia makes the majority of its scholarship offers? I have a deadline for accepting another offer in the beginning of April... Thanks![/quote]

Hello everyone! I have asked for an expedited decision on March 17th and received my admission today. I suggest you ask for an expedition decision too if you are also facing other deadlines, they really try to help:) Best of luck to everyone waiting!
